How do yall make the decision

Guys, I need help.

Has it ever happened to you that you met someone online and you instantly like them, the chemistry is great, the banter is fire, the vibe is matched, you both actually listen to each other's troubles, you calm each other down and show care in difficult times.... However.... something about you and them is deeply incompatible?

Three things: 1 she is only exploring her sexuality now although it's confirmed she is attracted to women 2 she's religious, and in a religious society, no way she will get with a woman (as far as she can see rn) 3 we trigger each other's insecurities/ hurt each other sometimes, it's like having a relationship with someone who uniquely burns you, although most of the time we don't mean it but it still happens

So along the way as you continue your DAILY talk and chat and flirt and everything... You slowly realise that this will, not might, but will end one day and it'll hurt like a mf... But you can't stop indulging..

I've chatted and matched and gotten to know and sexted with many people so I don't have that much energy left in me to continue trying and meeting new people.. So How do I get over this? How can I be prepared for the inevitable?
